HELP!!! Pes 09 for PS3 keeps freezing

My PES keeps freezing randomly just after I turn it on. I was updating the songs on the game and just before it went away the plug got knocked out and it went off, now everytime it comes on and a song starts there is no sound and for example I click on exhibition match it just freezes whenever I click something on the menu.

Anyone know how I can fix this? Ive had all the PEs and ISS games for Playstations for about 10 years and never had a problem. This just happened today.

something to do with the music mate i had same problem with my music i put in than i took them all out and put music that i took off an album and not downloaded off the internet and it works fine now im not sure about your problem but that was mines hopes it helps

Cheers mate, must be the songs as ive never had a problem before doing it, only problem is getting it off before it freezes again lol. Its songs I downloaded off Eminems relapse and put on it incase it happens to anyone else.

Just incase this happens to anyone else it is definetly the songs that have caused it, I took the eminem ones off and it worked fine, added one and as soon as its to play there is no sound and then the next time i click something it freezes.

Now I need to turn it off and on to get it back on to change it again lol

I think it may be that the Eminem songs have a picture on them of the cover of the relapse album that is somehow interupting it, I will try to get that off check the song again and then will know if it is or isnt to do with that.

Im saying one more thing, I got the eminem songs working on it and they were the problem. If anyone comes across this with the same problem then all you do is remove the "Album art" from the mp3 file, thats what ive done and they now work :D

no need for the infraction mate but im not interested anyway

I don't see any reason for the PS3 (?) to freeze because of the album art. With all of it's "superiority", isn't it supposed to ignore it by itself?
