Help Please editing ball pack in Kitserver

Can anyone help please ? I am using one of the large ballpacks (about 640) but would like to trim it down to the ones I actually use in game, but every time I delete a model and edit the map I lose the preview graphic, and the ball appears scrambled in the game. Any advice please ?

Scrub that, found a smaller pack.
