Go to the to the place you make them, select the square icon, open the square over the whole image,then go to the icon below the square icon select
it,then goto the square you made and click an drag the square to the side next just go to the square icon which will be marked with an X and click on it, this should cut the square u moved to the side and u will be left with a trans. backround(note : if there is still aline where u draged the square to the side just do the same cut and drag making the square wider than the line that is left and this should clear that an u will be left with a total transparent canvas) sorry could not explain better but if u can follow it it does work,its just a pity were stuck with them big goddam flags.
