Please! I keep losing to Brazil as Argentina on Proffessional, any tips, formations - anything- to beat them.

Play Riquelme in the hole. You need both Cambiasso & Mascherano playing. Make your set pieces count.

ok, this is what i came up with

4-4-2 A1 With wider SMF's, Riquelme playing as deep as poss in AMF Role, Crespo deep in attack, D. Milito a bit further back than Hernan in CF roles.

Hoping this works

When playing with Argentina i play 4-3-3, can't remember the defence but the midfielders and forwards look like this

Don't play that difficulty then, you obviously aren't good enough to beat that level

well i have been breezing through the game at this difficulty, now ive been stopped

Pass the ball around the back, use a long ball to your full backs (Left FB to Right FB) and eventually release Messi on the left wing with a through ball. With all luck you can breeze past their Right Winger, and then hold R1 and R2 and to knock the ball ahead, run with the ball on the byline (the box-line parallel to the thrown in line), turn back (either turning a defender or not, time it) and immediately flick your D-Pad up and move towards the GK, before anyone can tackle you, Shoot and then hold R2 immediately, ball should roll into the back of the net - OR you can pass the ball to Tevez or Crespo, whoever is in the box for a tap-in. Repeat as necessary. This is a bit boring but if you can't beat them, keep trying to with this "Goal formula".

Copy Barcelona's formation, defence lines are as usual, put Riquelme as the AM, Cambiasso/Lucho CM, Mascherano DM, then Aguero on the left SS, Messi Right SS, and Tevez/Saviola Center SS.

this is the best formation for Argentina, if u want to make the Tevez role as CF, put Crespo/D.Milito instead.

Trust me, u can do it !!

i don't usually play with crespo
tevez and milito should be enough. messi, aimar, mascherano and cambiasso is your midfield.

Play Saviola-hes got good rating so you could take runs with him and he has good dribbling easy to skin players

I beat Brazil on Top Player with Argentina playing the following formation:

Barcelona, however, are a bitch to beat on Top Player. I remember discussing how the game cheats on Top Player and me arguing in favour of the game, but against Barca, the computer cheats like you won't believe.

I usually beat barca like 3-0 or 4-0 with chelsea on top player

i love how riquelme plays in "the real world" but in the game he is too slow.
