How do i install updates or even get them as i have had no updates since i got the game

You can only do game updates when you have your PS3 online. Thats if youre using a PS3. Basically have your PS3 online/signed in then fire up the game and if an update is available for that particular game it will automatically find it and ask you to install it. I would imagine its basically the same process for a 360.
Btw the update for PES2009 hasnt actually been released yet. The one people are talkin about got released unfinished for a few hours accidentally. The actual update/patch is due to be released pretty soon but no date has been announced yet.

thanks mate, its just cos i installed an option file from up here and it said i dojnt have the right update so i wonderd cos it didnt work, u got any advice?

Well it sounds like you might av dld arsenald's one or someone else's that managed to get the unfinished update in the few hours it was accidentally leaked. Basically you wont be able to use that option file until the update/patch is released and you update it. The only other option is to dl a different option file mate. If you really want the one you have now just keep it on your pc, dl another one and use that until the update/patch comes out, then remove the one youre using, add the one you want to keep and then do the update.
