hmv and game can just burn down!

went in to hmv and game today and they had pes5 behind the counter but they would not sell it to me im so p~#sed off now. Carnt see why they just carnt sell it to me not like they aint gettin g any money for it!:realmad:

It is quite petty that they don't sell it to you, but officially Pro Evo 5 hasn't been released until tomorrow, so they're just sticking to the rules, however stupid it may be. Other independant shops may sell but the big boys such as these two won't sell until tomorrow. I think.

I looked in all shops over Portsmouth, and none would sell it, even Gamestation. Went to a small shop back in Gosport and he had one copy left. He was also so kind to keep it behind the counter after I gave him a call. Nice chap!

Now now, there is simply no need to be calling peple fifa fans . I know it seems petty that they cant sell the game one day early but rules are rules. Anyways, why would they want to get into LEGAL trouble just for the sake of a few esperate fans.

They wouldn't be gaining much by selling a a day earlier, as they know they'll still get a barrage of customers tomorrow morning.

Places like GAME and HMV get things called "Mystery Shoppers" on a daily basis. Who these people are and what they do (for people who don't know) is that its members of the Public that work undercover for the trading agencies who go into the shop and ask alot of questions etc to the staff to try and find out if the staff know what they are talking about and how they treat the customers. They also target the age limits of games by getting kids to go in and try and buy games that are rated 18+ etc. This is also applied to the release dates of goods so for all the person knew today, you could have been one of these people and he/she was just doing their job.

Mystery Shoppers aren't used by Trading Agencies, infact they are used by Marketing agencies for market research purposes. I know this because I worked for one.
