How do i do a volley?

i have been playing the demo of PES3 and it's great and all...but i can't volley the ball...most of the goals i score come off of crosses, but i can't volley the ball... he always heads it....what botton do i press...

Try chesting it down and whacking it at knee or waist height. It can be hard however, since defenders often close in.

If you're looking to do a first-time volley, try crossing to someone in space - without a defender hounding them - so they can wait for the ball to come at an optimum height before hitting it. Plus, you could try moving the players around manually (R2 + direction) to get into space.

You can volly the ball by holding the L1 button and pushing the shoot button...This ofcourse only works with the ball at your feet...
