How do i download an option file using ps2 maxdrive....please help.

It comes up with the screen which says if i want to save the file or open it, what do i do from then.?

You first have to save the file onto your pc.
Then you unzip/unrar it and then copy and paste it onto your max drive.

yea, but how do u copy and paste it into your max drive, and were is the "max drive situated"

You may need to get someone to help you if you don't know how to copy and paste files.
