Hawke said:I've had a few PM's lately asking how to import faces ,so i've made a quick & easy guide to help ppl out.
The first thing to know is that the methods are the same for all games Pes4PC,Pes4 PS2,We8le etc:etc:
........................................................................
Ok here we go,
Open 0_TEXT with GFX Studio & locate the .bin file with the same name as the face you've downloaded, now right click on this file & choose "import a file over this one" > lacate your dowloaded face & press open your face in now in the 0_TEXT & will become selectale in the in game edit mode.
If you downloaded & imported a special face (Facew***,Facer***,Facek*** or Facey***) you will need to make sure that "use special face" box is checked ,by now opening your 0_TEXT with Dkz data editor,Wedtor or Editpes4optionfile
then locating the player whose face you inserted & choosing the right face number & then checking the above mentioned box as special faces are not selectable in game ...NOTE: theres the special hair to consider at this point EG: you don't want to put defoe special face over drogba special face as defoe will then be assigned drogbas hair , you can turn special hair on or off with Weditor or Editpes4optionfile but i don't think Dkz supports this yet & for importing special hair bins you need to talk to someone like Norek,Ibo,Mattster12 etc: as i don't use this method coz it don't work too good on ps2 & thats what i play.
..................................................................
Next BMP's,
Ok if you downloaded a face bmp you MUST know which .bin it goes over ,coz all the mdl's are different they are the skull (for the want of a better word) & determine the face shape so you can't just put a bmp over any old .bin WONT WORK !!
So once you know which .bin your bmp goes over , open 0_TEXT with GFX Studio ,locate that .bin & then in the work space of GFX Studio open your bmp , set opaque (Press the black button) & then RIGHT click drag "n" drop the bmp over both faces in the .bin
You must right click as faces are on a shared palette & although most facemakers reimport the original palette ..you just never know![]()
Thats it done!!
.....................................................................
FAQ,
1. Do PC .bins work on PS2 ? = NO !
2. Does OEdit work on PS2 ? = NO !
3. Do Pes4 Ps2 .bins work in We8le ? = YES ! & Vice versa.
4. What if i wan't to put a Pes4 Ps2 .bin or bmp into We8le , how will i know which face to replace , ther' named different ? = Download the Pes4 face list find out who the .bin or bmp was made over EG: w008 would be Saviola , then locate Saviola .bin in We8le & import over this .bin
5. If i download , lets say w006.bin does it have to go over w006.bin ? = NO ! it can go any where in the same skin section , but special faces must go in the special face section ( same skin colour tho ).
NOTE: again for Ps2 users this can be a problem as some but not all faces end up with two transpatent gaps , one above each ear when imported elsewhere , not a problem for long haired players as the hair covers the gaps , but rather shitty for short haired players.
5. Do i have to right click drag "n" drop special face bmp's ? = to be honest i don't really know the answer to this , i always do but then i always put the original palettes back in my faces , i think special faces have a special palette , so once again ask someone like Norek,Ibo,Matt etc:etc:
..........................................................................
Well i think i've covered most if not all the Q's , but if there's anything i missed i will add later .
So all the best,be lucky & happy face importing,
Hawke.
