But when I try picture decoder doesn't ;et me open .BMP files, it says not supported

It DOES support bmp files as long as they have the same size and color depth like the default bin. Check the kit importing guide here in the editing section.

I've got one I need to input and I've no real great knowledge of editing so hit it to me simply. I've got Graphic Studio etc.

I want this bmp image to become the kit, how do I go about it?

I'm having the same problem. That Ajay site only really explains how to do it on the PC version, could anyone explain how you can do this or what you need to do this, I've got graphic studio but it's useless if the kits aren't in .bin format :(

Isnt it just the same though?

If you open the 0_text file then locate the .bin file with the kit you want to change, 3 pictures of the kit appear in the bottom window pane?

Then you can drag a .bmp of a kit (that you opened in the main window) over the files in the bottom window. That should replace the kits.

I thought it was the same as the PC, as they are both AFS files??

Doesn't work for me, when I drag the replacement over the original the cursor just turns into a no-entry sign and it doesn't let me replace the kit :(

Wierd

You could try using a program like UltraISO to make the .bin file yourself and insert the right images into it.

Have you used UltraISO before, it looks a little complicated

I have and it is a little complicated.

I just tried using it to create the bin files with the kits already in it and it doesnt work - it hasnt got the right headers or something.
