How do you become a Veteran?

Alot of members have "Insight Veteran" under there avatar, and Im just wondering how do you become one? At first I thought it was by how many posts you've made, but some members have made loads but they're not Veterans. Then I thought it was by how much rep you have, but Barndoor has loads of rep and he's still a mere mortal.

I think Hitman decides who the veterans are, i think he choses people that contribute alot to the site etc.

I think all of the admins have a say...it has to do with how long you've hung around and what type of contribution you've made to the site.

Oh and you can't be American...

Me too. I guess I haven't really contributed much in term of patches and posting porn and what have you.
