How do you score from free kicks in pes5?

there is alot of users of this forum that have posted some awesome goals in the free kicks section of the goal gallery

but no matter how hard i try, i can never score goals from free kicks!!!!!!!

can someone please post how you score regularly from free kicks?????

It's the age old question!!

I could go into depth about freekicks but if you used the search function, i'm sure you can find more precise guides to freekicks then I could tell you.

The one thing I would say is however, is that practice makes perfect.

man, pick a guy, and practice with him... usually, down and R2 [] followed by X when you're close, and up and when you're further out; up and R1 [] followed by O. But everyone does it differently, pick a guy, practice and try new things....

You had to check the spelling of that I bet...

Everyones gonna kill me for telling you this but what you do is when you are about 35-50 yrds out, get some one with hight shot power and SHOT accuracy, press L2 twice and blast it. R. Koeman (klassic Netherlands) is good for this. Just so you know, this is what is known as 'The Free Kick Glitch'

My god, I cannot believe I still see these things.

R1 and R2 are not used for Freekicks anymore. They were used in PES4, but in PES5 they are replaced with X and Y (Cross and Triangle). R2 does only work if you take a longpass freekick, it will give the ball a higher trajectory. When shooting, neither R1 nor R2 does squat.

Roriniho it doesnt work. when i do what u say, i hold the shot button as hard as it can go and the ball just literally goes into row z
