How does 'form' actually work

Different players have different form levels, ranging from 2-8. I always thought that higher the number, the better the chance of them being in a good 'condition' (red, yellow, green & purple arrows). I may be wrong though.

Anyone?

I dunno I think form is just random and makes no sense and also it seems if your playing away your team is decimated with blue and purple form its stupid!

I like this. Last year, players with the higher forms (8) like Lahm or Pirlo would be out for weeks whenever they went downhill in MLO. Randomizing the form is a great thing especially if you're playing against some asshole that can only rely on Ronaldo and Messi!

The computer has players all in good form and you have players with shit form.

I've never really noticed the difference in form when playing away & home. But I'll keep an eye on it now to check if it's true!

Yes, the form system has changed this year, back to the one from PES11, which is great of course! You could play all your players daily rather than having to wait for days/weeks to play them again. Nobody really wants to field players who are blue or purple condition.

Having a higher form in PES12 was actually a disadvantage as the cycle was longer. But in PES11 & PES13 (I think) it's an advantage because your players will have a better condition depending on how high the form is.

I am still trying to figure out whether the form system in PES13 is exactly the same as PES11 where lower form = higher chance of being poor condition & higher form = higher chance of being good condition.

Not sure about this as I've stopped playing against the computer since MLO came in place. I do play a champions league tournament here & there if my Internet is playing up though. I've never really checked the computer's form.
