How in the F do I get my players to make forward runs?

Okay, I've tried different formations and I messed around with the tactics and team style, but no matter what I try my wingers and right/left backs never make a forward run when they see me going in the same direction.

Example. My second striker will get the ball just at about midfield, I'll look for support in my wings and what do I see, no one, my wingers and defenders run away from me back to my own half rather than run ahead of me so I can give them the damn ball.

This is really irritating me
Any suggestions?

The first two team style settings seem to work for me (max them both out). Also, make sure your players team cards are set to offensive priority. I'm not sure what else to say except that the sliders seemed to really improve this for me. You could also try increasing the overall attack level...

There's 3 ways to go about this. Hopefully 1 of them will work for you cuz my players run fine.

1. Use players with the reaction or overlapping card.
2. Either hold L1 when passing or press R2 right after passing for manual run.
3. Hold L2 + R1 to increase your attack level. They're a bit cautious on the normal one.

That made me laugh, that's so true.

I go for All Out Attack and put my team offensiveness to 100%, it's not perfect but it's better.

for me i just like to play and id forgot to keep pressing L1 and all that but i surpose i could learn it
