How many PES game delopers does it take to screw in a lightbulb???

Firstly, I'm no quitter...time after time i've ushered my Pro disk back into my slimline after promising myself i'm never going to play this piece of sh*t again. But now i simply have no patience left.

On Konami's website, they beauitfully describe PES as "Pro Evolution Soccer is a video game built on pride, the pride that comes from making the most realistic soccer experience one can have within the world of gaming. "

This without a doubt is a bare-faced lie, ALL PRIDE IN PES HAS BEEN LOST.

How do they dare used the word REALISTIC?????

Is it realistic to:

- Have Bolton passing the ball around like Barcelona for 90 minutes, not misplacing 1 pass???
- Have referees who are bias towards the AI
- Have an almost silent Stadium after scoring a goal (even at home)
- Have Andrew Johnson (5ft 4) beat Diaby (6 ft 2) for a header
- Have a through ball function which is unuseable (unless using with the R2 button)
- Have a AI who only EVER play counter attack football against you on higher diffculity levels.
- Have an AI who would prefer to pass the ball around their own half for 20 minutes even though their a goal down with 5 minutes left????

These are just examples that come to mind, we all know there 100 other faults.

Please dont kid yourself into thinking that these lazy rich Japs will listen to a thing any US/Uk/Euro teens have to say either.

First of all, can you screw a light bulb? Probably not since you can't even spell developers...

Secondly, I think this years PES is the best PES ever... Yes, some will disagree with that bold statement, but I like it.. So to me the game is perfect in everyway.

Thridly, You say you have no patience left? Well then go and play FIFA. If you don't like FIFA either, then go and play something else...

Back in the good old days no one used to complain about video games... We just played what we got.. But these says people just complain to the developers..

Also Konami do listen to us... You expect them to put everything we want in a game? I do, but they are not going to do that are they? So I've come to the best solution:

Play PES if you like it, don't if you don't like it... As Aleksandr Orlov says - Simples! :)

PES 2010 is a good game, is it great? probably not. It does have its issues yes but its still a good game. Show me a perfect game.... you won't find one trust me! I could tell you that I never play against the AI, I do agree that its passing gets annoying but PES has always been for me a multiplayer experience against friends on and offline. So the AI issue doesnt really bother me.

+100000000000

imo it is the best pes yet. yeh there are a few flaws like there is in everygame but i thoroughly enjoyed it. already i have played pes2010 more then i played pes6 or pes2008.

and to answer dkhune:

1) they dont pass 100% if you know how to play, again on top player i was able to beat say brazil and croatia 4-0.
on professional which i play on masterleague (well professional for some, regular for the easier teams, depending on the time of season and how tired the team is etc etc. i like to make it realistic) i still managed to beat real 5-0

2) agreed on this one, referees are the worst part of the game, however i wouldnt say completely biased cos i get a load of free kicks too

3) anything can happen with headers, height isnt everything, its technique, positioning, dominance, force etc etc

4) i rarely use through balls but the times i do again its hit and miss. like the real life game its all about technique and timing

5) yes they do play counter attack, but its not all they play. i have a lot of the times had to win a game by coming back from 1 goal down. or even one game against real i drew 4-4, only cos i managed a last minute equaliser.

6) depends on the type of game. the lower teams will most likely do this. i find with the important games or bigger teams then they wont do it

and lastly dont degrade your post by being immature and childish with name calling to the japs. tbh europe as a continent and also the usa are a lot lazier then the japs

edit: reaper01, stop trolling and trying to get a reaction. WE GET THE FRIGGIN POINT. you dont like pes ok, deal with it and move on. stop chucking your toys out the pram and let the people who enjoy pes be entitled to their opinion. just because you dont like it doesnt mean everyone has to dislike it

The only gripe I have with refs is in the penalty area, if you're running straight at gol and get taken down from behind they wont call the foul and cost you a pk shot. Other than that I could live with the touch foul calls in midfield.

well said my fellow LFC friend.

I can go as far back as this http://news.cnet.com/i/bto/20080102/Atari_2600.png

The games and consoles have constantly improved since then. From Atari to Nintendo From Nintendo to Sega From Sega Megadrive to Playsation 1 etc etc etc

It's getting there. I wish some of todays kids would play world soccer on the Sega 8bit and then complain aboy Pro 10 :D

Back in the days we did not complain because the only ones we could complain to was our parents and they did not fucking care.
Now we have internet, and those of us that are able to spot poor programming when we see it have a responsibility to all the other "kids" out there to point out every mistake being done on these overpriced, overanticipated piece of shit games that is being released nowadays.

Feel free to sit in your trusty old cave and play games for 5 year olds until you grow a molebeard, but I won't join you.

PES2010 is decent, and not far from being a great game, it's the utterly stupid little things that isnt even hard to fix that completely ruin the game for me and everyone else that have a sense for details. And I'm not talking about graphical details, I am talking "no penalties", "AI isn't actually scoring", "Defenders backing into their own box without ball pressure" etc.

You and everyone else that don't like us complaining about stuff like that, can kiss my ass!

Yes, it's all about how you say it. If you scream foul like an overzealous maniac the good points are all lost on me anyway. If you chillax and make you points in a realistic way with a grain of salt, then I for one won't ever laugh at you.

How many PES game developers does it take to screw in a lightbulb???

Only one, I'd imagine, but that doesn't matter much when a whole team of them has decided to remove the light switch they installed last year.
