How to convert PC OF to max file?

I've scoured the threads to find out how to do this and have tried several times using the PESFan Editor but I just don't get it! Is there an 'idiots' guide' (because I must be an idiot) to converting a PC option file to a PS2 max file? Any help would be gratefully accepted and please bear in mind that I'm not the most computer literate person on the block. :)

All you gotta do mate is, go into PESFAN Editor, open the OF you want to convert, then go to FILE and then SAVE AS. Save it as a different name to that of KONAMI-WIN32PES6OPT but when you change the name of what your saving. Make sure you put .max at the end of the file name so that it is recognised as a .max file!!!!. Then save it into a folder and stick it on your max. drive and do whatever. ;).

E.G - Danspes6OF.max

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I'm not such an idiot because I already did this. I tried it again but the max file software doesn't detect a file on the USB stick, even though I did what you said. Also the file size is 1164kb, the same as the PC file but every max file I've downloaded before is around 800kb or so... :( :)

Cheers for the offer Craney but I want to do all my editing on the PC then convert to PS2 and I'm sure you don't want me to email you everytime I change something which would likely be every day! I don't really understand why I can't get this to work because, as I mentioned, I did what you said. Ah, well... :( :( :)

Theres only one other way than i first mentioned and thats to open up a pes6 a different OF .max in pesfan editor then go to FILE, OPEN OF2 and when you open up OF2 open up your file you wish to convert (The PC PES6 OF). There should be a column along the top were you can add stuff to that OF from another OF for pes6 select all the stuff e.g boots, players, formations etc etc. Then once you have selected all of the options click on FILE, SAVE AS and save it in whatever destination. It should automatically save as a .max and should be around 800kb (normal pes6 ps2 save). Then just put it on your max drive and do whatever. try that
