How to perform step over (PS3) ?

Hey guys, ive been looking everywhere to find out how to perform a step over where the player looks as though his moving left then right then left etc etc ??

If someone could let me know the controls for this to work for a PS3, I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks mate, hopefully this is the combination im after, its basically where the player's body looks as though its going right,left,right,left whilst running towards goal...

Double tapping L1 does a long step over.
