I knew it was late to introduce myself since I joined but who cares...

First of all I am from Myanmar (Known as Burma) one of The Biggest PES Fan Base Country In The World. I am not kidding. Most of the people in this forum may or may not been there before. The most popular console in Myanmar was PS2 and before that PS1 and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The most popular game is of course Pro Evolution Soccer/Winning Eleven and before that International Superstar Soccer Deluxe. There is no one really play FIFA. What is FIFA? Every internet cafe has PS2 and they must have PES game. If not no one will come and play. The young people and old from there was crazy about soccer and PES/W11. I was one of them. There is huge business in opening a game shop(not retail) for playing PES/W11 only. When I was young I was playing International Superstar Soccer Deluxe in game shop only because I enjoy playing with many people rather than playing alone. When PS1 was come out, we all wonder about how the next game of International Super Star Soccer Deluxe will look like and we all excited about it. That time I went to game shop everyday and play International Superstar Soccer Pro. I never saw there is empty seat in most of the gaming shop which run only with PES/W11. If you ask everyone why don't they have FIFA, they will definitely said FIFA is like playing monkey. Now a day PS2 is still top selling game in Myanmar and PES/W11 is top in the charts forever. PS3 still expensive to own the people from there. Myanmar population is 55 Million+ and I can't count how many play PES/W11 until now. Every game shop, game retail, internet cafe must have PES/W11 if not there is no business. Every new patch version come out, everyone bought it,play it no matter it was updated or Japanese language. They don't care. Sometime the menu just changed in same version and this one also sell it like a hot cake. PES/W11 rule in Myanmar(Burma). No other stupid soccer games. Long live PES/W11 !!!

(PES Patched versions mostly come from Thailand)

My first soccer game history in each game console

Konami Hyper Soccer (NES)
International Superstar Soccer (SNES)
International Superstar Soccer Pro (PS1)
J-League Winning Eleven 5(PS2)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS3)

I would have never thought that PES is that popular there. Nice to know there are many PES fans out there. Welcome to the site (even if you're here from 2004)!
