I cant score headers!!!

i got pes4 on thurs night and i have been playing it as often as possible. But i am struggling with scoring headers, i have not scored one yet. They normally go miles over the bar (even from six yards) or the player doesnt connect properly and it jus rolls out for a goal kick.

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated

Try Training mode first.
What team do you use ?
Try using Portugal, with Nuno Gomes, or France with Zidane;

I agree, scoring with headers is difficult. But you have to push twice on O when you cross the ball.
Players will easyer score with their head.

Does that tip apply with PES3 too ?!

the best thing to do is when you cross a ball in when your player comes to contact with the ball press the direction towards where the ball was going if the cross went past him.as though it was a flick on. seems to work for me and it gives a great effect when the keeper looks helpless

Have the same problem . but try using the X insted.. it is a lot better.

Score Headers is difficult of you keep stand in the area, of 10 shots you can score 3 or less; but to make goals u have to move your attacker player by using the R2, Presing that you can move your man to other side where you can score.

yeah i agree haven't scored many headers in the game and i also think corners are harder and crossing freekicks are really hard, i could score from almost every corner in pes3

yeah that was the same with me, i think once you work out the trick to delivering the ball again it'll come alot easier.
