Well Folks, After months and months of Frustration and dissapointment with PES4 and PES5 (WE8/WE9), I have finally decided to go back to WE7. The game that changed the way FOOTBALL is played. After playing 2 matches in WE7, I have to say this is STILL THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME.
This is just me but I have played PES4 and PES5 (WE8/WE9) and I have noticed that some matches are fixed and programmed. What I mean by this is that if the AI wants you to Win, you will Win. If the AI wants you to Lose, you will Lose. In PES4, the Goalkeepers and the defense fall asleep after you score. In PES5 .... read my previous posts. PES4 and PES5 are better in terms of graphics, better running and animations and so on but they lack "Fair Gameplay"
But in WE7, forget any of this nonsense. Today, I would still give Konami an Award for making the BEST FOOTBALL GAME IN THE WORLD -> WE7. When I lose in WE7 whether is by a Goal or by being hammered, I will applause that team that beats me.
Everything about WE7 is Awesome and Slick. The MAIN thing I LOVE about WE7 is "FAIR GAMEPLAY". In WE7, there is so much to play for and there no matches in a League/Master League or a competition or even a friendly match that is fixed. There have been some matches where I had to throw Everyone foward or changing formations or substituting players searching for a goal/equaliser, especially if you are Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and so on. Sometimes you get a Goal and sometimes you don't.
In WE7, EVERY Player response according to their abilities and attributes. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MENU OR THE MUSIC. I am only Interested in playing an Awesome Footy game.
