I need help with the 120% alchool programe

I have downloaded this program but do not know how to use it. I have done a search on 120 alchool guide but I just get posts about this programe but no guide.
Can anyone help me please. My friend bought PES3 and wants the names corrected and I thought downloading it on to cd putting it in my chipped playstation and saving it on his memory card will work.

Unfortunatly he does nto have a chipped playstation 2 other wise i could have just burn him a patch on cd using CDRWIN like I have doen with WE7.

Just did a wizard image and I can see it says PES3 MDS file in my downloads what do I do now sorry?

I have just started up Alchool 120% programe and I can see the file PES3 but as I has said I do not know what to do now and how to put the patch in the gane never used this programe before.

The other programe seems a lot more easier. I normally use CDRWIN to patch my Jap game up but my friend does not have a chipped machine only a UK machine. I was hoping to burn the game to cd with patch put it in my machine insert his memory card so he can have the kits, proper names, transfers etc as these are just data.

A burning program like Alcohol, CDRWin or Nero will not help your friend in any way for updating PES3.

All you need is an updated option file copied onto his memory card. You can do this using the Datel Update disk or, the better option which is an X-Port file which you can download for free and send to your memory card using the X-Port.

I thought I could download the English patch burn it on to cd with the game put it in my machine and then save the new players names etc on to his memory card would this not work then? I thought it would.

Your whole idea sounds very complicated and most probably won't work.
Hopefully you do know that WE7 and PES3 beta patches won't work on the PES3 full version.
The same goes for WE7 option files and PES3 beta option files - they don't work on the PES3 full version either.

The best option is to use an X-Port.
Either that or mail me your memory card, I'll copy the updated data onto it and post it back to you :)

My friend has the original version of PES3 and I know I can not get the stadiums and chants etc on the memory card for my friend I thought I could download a full patch.

I surf the messageboards looking for a full patch not beta for PES3 download it and burn it to cd as I did with WE7. I would then insert the burnt cd in my machine with his memory card hopeing that all the data has been saved to his card but not the stadiums and chants etc.

I cant see why it wont work really but I have suggested using X-Port, is this device easy to use?

Yes, it is ver simpe, to use.

Your method is iffy. I, too, reccomend getting an X-Port. Apart from PES3, it's useful for a host of other things, inclucding future PES/WE titles.

It's not in stock at Play, however, so you'll have to wait a while unless you want to take the more pricier option at http://www.codejunkies.com.

That method would defintely work for players names at least, flags I don't think would work...they are based on a cd unless you edit them in-game in which case that data would be stored just on option file. So unless know how to do some clever stuff with option files and cover to ppf format and actually apply it to a cd you will be kind of stuck.

If you need any help with alcohol let me know, otherwise a x-port is great investment.
