I think i got bored...of PES 2009.. :O

I dunno but i think i got bored of the game. Now its so tragically easy that there in nothing of a challenge in the game. I am in ML in the 10th season. And i got superb players all around the team. And i guess i found the loopholes in the game, small secret playing styles that is bound to give you goals. Even if i try to play differently every time, i see that i score in almost the same way in almost every match (with a lot of variations..you will know when a goal is coming). Ok, but if you must have thought that way, i am set on TOP PLAYER on default. Master League Hardest (that doesnt make any difference to the gameplay tho). And still i score on an average of 5 per match with sometimes nothing against me.

Last night, before nearly throwing the gamepad away, i went onto play CUP mode. Took one of the lowest rated team and fought my way through to win the cup. It felt fresh again, but after that i started hating Master League or any other mode. Now its been a couple of weeks since i played, but everything is still nightmares...

anyone with the same feeling?

The problem is i cant play online because i have a bad connection. So its all single player... but that now seems over..atleast for me..

I Guess That You May Need A Break For A While....

Play Another Game(s); Then Come Back & Play PES In A Week Or So...And You Should Have Your Passion & Desire Back :)

The same happened to me as well..

The only "New Thing" that I discovered with PES09 was the L1+R1. I noticed that if you crossed the ball whilst holding L1+R1 -the- cross was almost always on target.

Or in the Defensive end, if you have a defender and hold L1+R1 and then Tap the Crossing button.. the defenders seem to give lethal Long Balls. I've scored plenty of goals with this move.

Or how you can now vary the Old "fake-shot" with the L1+R1 Dribble, I can now vary how I cut the ball.

The other thing that I consider "positive" is the Shooting.

But that was about it, that's the only New Thing that I had to master within the game. The rest of it is just more of the same:

- Same old Stats and Special Abilities.

- Same old 4 Types of Movements, for over 500 players.

- Same robot-like and arcade-like Animations and Movements.

- Same old Strategies, just 4 for all the players and positions within the game.

- The "momentum shifts" remain a random and biased concept, lacking plenty of reasoning.

- The same old R2 "pass and move" play, again, no variations, no new additions to in-game Tactical Play.

- And couple of New Modes that I have honestly never played.

It isn't worth the wait nor the money, Konami needs to speed up their "evolution".

I get bored of every game if I play it too much.

Trick is...wait for it......

Not to play it so much!

PES5 and PES6 gave me much more playing time.

It's true that if you play it long enough, any game will get boring. But to be honest I get bored of PES09 after some 4 or 7 games. It's just one-dimensional and boring. And I'm convinced that deep-down everyone, or at least most fans are aware of this.

A Football "Simulation" should be much more fun, realistic, and interesting. As simple as.

Personally i go on and off PES all the time, sometimes i wont play it for a good 2-3 weeks then bang, im back on it a few hours a day trying to complete another master league season. Think thats the beauty of this game it will piss u off but u will always come bk to it.

Oh and also when ive not played it for a few weeks and say im on Top Player or Professional when i start playing again it is quite difficult as u have to get used to it again.

master league too easy...

i agree - as soon as you've got a half decent squad, the master league does become too easy. although the latest update has added interest (for me anyway).

i find it to be (slightly) more of a challenge to play on 5 minutes (instead of 10).

otherwise, i recommend that you try the new BAL mode - it's much more challenging.

i agree that pes has the addictive to bring u back to play it but like amatur said most fans no that game is boring and will go off it right now im playing fifa and then when i get bored of it i wont be going back to pes 2009 i will probably go back to pes 5 or 6

I think the answer is to play BAL. It definitely presents a greater challenge because you can't control every player (which is realistic because even a manager can't do that in real life).

I haven't gotten bored of it yet, and as a result I haven't even touched ML yet...

Pro Evo never used to get boring or require a rest. Me and my mate splayed it every single day pretty much for around 6-7 years. ANd now i do the same with Fifa 09. The truth is that PES09 is just not good enough to hold your interest over a sustained period.

I suppose how bored you get is all down to your own personal attention span.

It's not the truth that its not good enough to hold peoples attention at all, the truth is that everyone has different attention spans.

I personally have a short attention when it comes to football games in general, and i'd much rather play a FPS with a story than sit there and play endless games of football.

Obviously you don't have the same passion for football as other people the Dale. As good as games like COD are, they are very limited when it comes to memorable moments. PES of the past, and now Fifa, offer special moments and a chance to recreate what you see in the professional game. I'm quite happy to just have Fifa for my PS3 right now and get rid of everything else. In fact i just got rid of MGS4 and Resistance 2 because i can't be doing with stories. Unless it's Final Fantasy.

I play football five times a week...so I really think you meant to say that I don't have the same passion for playing football 'simulations' on my console...
