I've been playing for a while now (500 match+) and got to D3 then lost few and stopped playing(was busy with AC3 XD) so dropped back to D4, anyway my problem is getting mainly to the round of 16 and most importantly dealing with the knock-out rounds(QF is my furthest) when i got the game first i was obsessed with the anti-football tactics etc.. but i figured out that 1-0 every game isn't enough to get me through due to the stupid qualification system, however i tried many tactics and many different players and i am currently using a similar tactic to Napoli's default inspired by some post i read (5-2-3 or 3-4-3) :

I've been winning a lot lately and i mean a lot my rating is even 530+ but the problem still exists i got to the round of 16 once in 2 days and lost on penalties, most of my games end 1-0 2-1 or 3-0 4-0 but then i draw the third game 0-0 and so on, i am not sure where the problem is but i am open to advices and suggestions i currently have 1m in my bank.
