Importing face PS3 HELP !!!

Hi,

I want to stick my face in on a player. I've taken a picture on my digital camera but it wont import. Now, i've read that i need to do it on either an eyetoy thing or an xbox camera. However, if that's the case how do people import pictures of celebs? (as seen in the funny face scans post) these clearly wont have been taken by an ps3 camera so has the format been changed and if so what to?
