Importing new faces to PES2009 without Kitserver

Is it possible?
I've been trying and testing on my own for a while now, searching google etc. but can't seem to find a way to do it.
So i simply just ask instead before i invest more time into the project.

I use PES 1.4 and kitserver only supports up till 1.2, that's why I wonder if it's possible.

I tried the whole of my sunday afternoon, to put a damn x.alonso face on the poor default one. Downloaded various pes editor packs etc. change the bin files in c.06 folder etc made sure there were no duplicates, relinked. blah blah blah... and I still could not for the love of me change his appearance. Then I found out u needed the latest kitserver, and still it does not work. Problem being I updated to 1.4 and you cant do nothing with 1.4 Iv read. So in conclusion I shot myself in the foot.

I figured it out.

You DL "Pro Evo Editing Studio 2009 v1.4" (wich funnily enough doesent support PES 1.4 100%)
You then download "PES2009PLUS v1.4.10 by WEN" (new kitserver-type)
Then you follow the usual process, by importing a face / hair and specifying the exact name that appears in the PES2009PLUS\IMG\cv06\ folder.

Doesen't work for BAL players yet as the PES 1.4 BAL saves doesen't seem to be supported by BAL editor 1.20 yet (the one implemented in pro evo ed stu v1.4 that allows BAL player face relinks and custom faces)
