I'm in the US and my budy is in Germany.
We tried to play many times in PES09 and we were never able to. Different servers, different versions, etc.

Does anyone know if we would be able to play on PES10?
If you do, can you explain the process.

The process is easy:

Both of you need the SAME version of the game. And a good internet connection as well.

He bough it on Germany and I on USA. Is this the same version?
Or does the version depends the update for the game you get?

How do we ensure that we have the same version?

I think I got it. So this means that since he bought it on Europe and I on US we don't have the same version of the game and we cannot play online.

The solution for this would be for him to get an US version of the game or me an European version. Is this right?

My friend is on Germany and I'm on US. We both bought the game locally and we were NOT able to play a game together online :(

Why does Konami do this? Why cant there be 1 version so everyone could just play anyone! ?

I live in the US. What would happen if I purchased the European version of PES2010 for Wii? Would that work on my Wii? Would it allow me to play European players?

no, on different server, I played on euro server before, it has a lot lot more players on line, you need to be really early to enter a competion, it is always full.

Konami & Sony enabled region server locks. If you're in USA, you must buy PAL version of PES10 to play them, and if they want to play you then have to buy American PES10. NTSC-US that is
