Is it possible to change winning eleven 8 into winning 11 8 LE?...im guessing that with LE u can play online.

B. NO, you can NOT change any version of WE, PES, anything into another version, it's impossible.

You need a launcher to really find someone to play with, search on this site there are a ton, or contact em on msn if you're interested i beta-testing one called battlcage, my msn is [email protected]
If you have someone's IP adress and simply put it in, and they're hosting, just join.

200_pesos this is the PS2 section not the PC section. And he asked about WE8 not WE8I. Winning Eleven 8 on PS2 is not playable online. Only in America under the WE8I name on the PC is it online compatible.

To play online with the PS2 you will need WE8LE or WE9... and either be in Japan or know a way around the system.

WE9 is actually just Asia.

Renaming it I guess just defines the region as much as anything. It is easier than having to put Winning Eleven 9 NTSC-Japan.
