I have a faithful ps2 and was wondering if Konamis new game was worth buying? Is it cut down with features, are the graphics bad or is it a wonder game. Your thoughts please..

i own pes 2008 ps2 and ps3 version.we all know what the next gen versions are like..pants.

i play pes 08 ps2 version on my ps3 everyday.its still the king of pro evos comapared to next gen version.

i will be getting ps2 version this year.

not sure bout what features it will or will not have mate but i garantee the gameplay will be majic like all ps2 versions.at the end of the day thats all that matters to me.

this years pes 2009 ps3 version is the worst pes game every for me.just my opionion.i hate it....

they have pes 2009 ps2 at play.com for 17.99.cant go wrong with that bro.bargain...

The PS2 version plays really nice imo, more like PES6 or 5.
Be warned though the BAL mode is not like the PS3 version.
It is simply the Fantasista mode, although I have only played about half a season, I don't think you can be called up to the national team (but like I said I have only played a half a season, just that I have not seen anything that indicates national teams so it may be possible???)

It plays nice so far though which is important I guess although I've really on played BAL and a few matches on exhibition (no Champions League mode)
No LeagueC for the Bundesliga so you'll have to overwrite teams for that.
