well i havent been on here for ages (since i bought we9) and i was wondering, is it worth buying pes5?

what are the differences? i would buy it if all the leagues such as serie-A and la liga have updated kits because its slightly annoying playing we9 with last seasons bargain basement kits.

also was the bundesliga ever confirmed to be in pes5? last i heard it was gonna be in.

thanks. :)

All the licensed kits have been updated mate.. Bundesliga is in, but not licensed. Expect everything from WE9 except:
- Nippon Challenge
- Japanese commentary
- Old Kits
- Old Rosters

Everything else in PES5 is the opposite to what i have just mentioned.. gameplay is basically the same mate.. but worth it, it is.. :)

From what I hear:

1. Chipped Thru ball has been made easier (like WE8:LE).
2. Crossing targetting made 'auto'/accurate again.
3. Defence dont lie so deep.
4. Game Speed tweaked to be faster than WE9 but slower than PES4.

Early deductions are that the game will seem easier for those who are comfortable with WE9. For me personally that's a bad thing. As I really enjoy the challenge on WE9.

Anyway, I still am getting the game upon release, and a few days of palytime, should anwaer my doubts.

Im some cases even if the game is easier somewhat, the overall 'feel' may be better than WE9. We'll wait and see.

As for teams, kits, licences that all just added bonuses, doesn't really influence my purchase.

And I hope next year's release of WE9I, builds on this.

Cheers

Check the Impressions thread for pes5 to find out what's different in it.

Overall i would say pes5 is well worth it. Apart from the terrible commentary.
