Issues with Live Update/Patch

Hi, guys.

Fairly new here.

I believe I asked this before on a bigger thread and didn't hear back from anyone so figured I'd give it a try here.

I recently installed a very good patch on my PES (J-League, Liga Mx, Bundesliga plus real names for all clubs and NTs).

Shortly thereafter I decided to live-update my copy and thus most of my squads in the patch have been affected. For instance, I had a guy with an Irish last name on Hungary; and also a guy from Independiente del Valle (Ecuador) on my China team.

So my question is more long-term I guess: is it possible to reconcile both live update as well as a patch? My goal ultimately is to have real names as well as the most up-to-date squads (with the right transfers).

Someone told me that some patches do include updated transfer but if you take the winter transfer window into account that would entail waiting until February at the earliest to have both real names as well as updated transfers/squads.

I only now got into this whole patch thing.

Well, I think that just about covers it.

I don't use live update, but maybe you could try deleting your edit data (so you start with a clean copy), apply live update and only then apply the patch?
