i've been getting email notifications

since i first joined the forums and i never got instant email notifications for my subscribed threads, now i am don't know why and when i go to options there i can't see the prob as i am not subscribed to instant email notification someone help?

basically i re-enabled emailing on the forums. so if u ever subscribed to a thread u will be recieving emails now. u will need to unsubcribe. the reason i made emailing active again was cos of the pesinsight live league

If you go to your user control panel it should list them, and give you the option to unsubscribe. I'm not totally sure, as I am not subscribed to any threads but it has a section on subscibed threads there, so I'd guess you have to go there to unsubscribe.

Says I'm subscribed to over 940 threads though, and I don't have a spare couple of weeks to manually unsubscribe to each one

I'm getting loads of emails, it wouldn't bother me if Gmail was any good, but I can't even send attatchments with crappy-gmail. So I've gone back to msn and found 200+ emails from here within a few days !

What I've done is go onto the subscription page in your user cp, ticked the box at the top so all your subscriptions on that page are ticked, and then scrolled through the box at the bottom till it says unsubscribe. I've only done it for threads after august, because I can't see anyone replying to threads before that ?
