John Terry on PES5

Got a mail from Konami in Sweden today saying John Terry has signed a deal with Konami to be "one of the faces of Konami of Europe's Pro
Evolution Soccer".

Here's some of the info in the press release:

"John Terry, England and Chelsea defender and 2005's PFA Player of the
Year has been confirmed as one of the faces of Konami of Europe's Pro
Evolution Soccer.

Terry, 24, has enjoyed a tremendous season, leading his Chelsea side to
Premiership glory and to a Champions League semi-final. He has also
established himself as a key member of England's international side
with his battling performances. As part of the agreement, Terry will be
closely involved with the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise."

Not necessarily but Konami would certainly give him great statistics as they wouldnt want their cover boy to suck on the game - nonetheless Raul is one of my favourite players in real life but at PES4 is nothing particularly special (his stats are very good though)

Pah, Jamie Carragher's been the best centre back in England this year

He had a great Champions League but he is a long way short of being the best Central Defender in England. Terry is so much better

Terry's a better tackler, but Carragher reads the game better. They're both not particularly fast... I know I'm biassed as hell but I couldn't pick between them

Actually Terry scores far more goals than Carragher...

But you have to love Carra's attitude. He's a total HERO...

I reckon there should be three faces on the box, Thierry Henry, John Terry and Adriano. There shouldn't just be English Premiership players featured.
