I dont know if you remember him, he was a mexican goalkeeper quite famous in years gone by. He was ranked the third best goalie in the world in his time, he was quite awesome, he usually ran towards the attackers and pretend to fall, which would cause the attacker to try to take the chance and shoot, but he quick as lightning jumped back on and saved. He was very short, but he was an awesome, awesome goalkeeper in his time, before he went on to play in the american league.

He also played as a striker, and he was actually very good at it, although i only saw him once or twice to do that at international level, he scored some beautiful goals in the mexican league, like scissor kicks and the like, he wasnt afraid to attempt all sort of weird shots and his creativity granted him some very nice goals, he was also fast and a good dribbler.

This being said, his prime would have been at around 1994 I'd say, and I find it sad that he isn't in the game, I wanted to see if you could remember him and try to make some stats for him, as I really want to include him in my game.

I'd give him, for his goalkeeping, stats like
94 Defence
95 Goalkeeping Ability
98 Response (His little trick was MAD, and usually got most of shots even being so short).
94 Agility
And, of course, a 1-1 goalie star

And for his striking abilities, I would give him stats of mid 80's, in my opinion he was as good as Hernandez, a player which, in the game, has a lot of stats at high 80s and mid 90s. Though, I would grant Campos a high 90s shoot technique because of the shoots he usually attempted.

Actually, sometimes the guy sort of annoyed me, but as a player I totally respect him, he was an awesome goalkeeper who also had some quite decent abilities as a striker.

What do you think?

Hello Sam.

He spent a lot of time with the mexican team, he started young and played on the team all the way until he was done with profesional soccer. Mexico has historically have very, very few players on european leagues, even though some of them have become icons at their clubs, like Hugo Sanchez, nowadays, Torrado, the coach Javier Aguirre and I hear even Barca's Rafa Marquez are very liked by their team's aficionados, at least they have chanted Torrado's and Aguirres's name on ocasion.

Anyway, what I was trying to say is that he's retired now, and he had all the ability to go international, but for whatever reason mexican players very rarely do.

I was reading about him in a magazine from my paper today, about the worst kits ever worn in football. apparently he designed his own goalie tops and they were pretty disgustin tbh

Maybe you don't know the colorful traditions in Mexico, we paint all with psycodhelic colors, in the death's day, and other fairy days, we use a lot of combinations, (not very nice), but if you are european or american, you didn't understand it until you come to mexico and see it for yourself, bye friends.
