hey all;

just found PESGaming after being at PESFan for sometime. i'm actually pretty new to PES in general as PES2007 was my first time playing.

Living here in the states we've always had FIFA, and after several years of not having time to play vids i had gotten a 360 on a whim... and the first title i grabbed was FIFA06, and i played that for a month or so until FIFA07 was released, so i picked that up...

i'm not gonna bash FIFA cuz thats what i was used to... but i had troubles with the game itself... i couldnt get it to load a match after a couple of months.. so i took it back, and got another, which eventually did the same thing... so i took it back, and instead of getting another the guy at gamestop suggested PES.

best suggestion EVA! seriously... the game play is sooo much better, closer to real soccer.

so when the demos for the 08 versions came out, i figured i'd give em both a fair shot, and i definitely like PES08 better. FIFA just didnt seem as fluid, like my controller wasnt working.

anyways, i'm 32, live in minnesota, played soccer up through high school, but have always followed it...

i support ac milan, and love the italian game.... and i'm glad to be here at pesgaming

i know this site is filled with mostly EPL fans, but how much serie a do you all follow?

i think the league is down the last few years, but overall its still a top 3 league worldwide imo... thoughts?

as i mentioned i support milan, and am upset by our lack of movement in the transfer markets lately... yes, we've snatched pato who looks to be living up to the hype, but we need help at the back... maldini, while a legend, is old and nesta is getting there... getting oddo last year was good, but we need more help, more depth. any thoughts on milan's plights?

btw, just picked up my copy of the US PES08... any idea if i can play all y'all cross the pond? or will the PAL / NTSC thing make it not possible?
