Okay, okay, I've finally got a new PES. I will still be making faces for PES2013 though.

Okay, so, can I use all edit features etc. if I install the game offline? (Using the Disc version)
Why? You may ask!
Because I need to basecopy Gerrard, Lampard, Drogba etc. before installing the updates.
I have already made the mistake of purchasing the digital download version but this comes with all the updates. Not sure if I can stop these from installing?

PS4, btw.

I don't know if the digital version comes with the latest dlc from the very moment you download the full game from PSN.
But with the disc version you have to install the game first, and then the system will automatically download the latest dlc available. You can pause the download and do what you want before resume the download again.

Or you can just go offline temporarily. Thats what I did, when I bought disc version. I`ve installed it and saved all the players while being offline. Then I went online again and automatic downloads showed up.

Ronystan, as you download the digital version, it pulls down the DLC's at the same time and you can't pause it. I did go offline as soon as the game finished downloading but the game wouldn't start due to a partially downloaded DLC.

So, the disc version seems to be my only option. (And go offline)

Huh! I put off getting any of the latest PES Games on latest Gen, and I've had to buy this one twice! Stoopid!

The disc option works perfectly! It took me nearly 2 hours to basecopy over 100 pre-set faced players, before going online for the updates to install.

Also, OMG! I take my hat off to those who make the "completed option files", for other people to use (Xbox 360 & PS3). It took me a whole day to edit the Premier League clubs' kits, emblems, managers and stadiums etc.

Ah mate, it's doing my head in! I've only edited teams that aren't licenced (adding kits & logos etc.) it's been a week and I still have the Portuguese sides to edit. Although, I am running out of kit space!?!?!?

By the time I've edited all teams, PES 2017 would've been released!
