Just Played Gran Turismo 4 Prologue...

Like the title says, Ive Just played the eagerly anticipated Gran Turismo 4 Prologue! First things first: the driving characteristics of the cars are so realistic! Those of you thinking you can go rounds bends doing speeds such as 100MPH have another thing coming, you'll have to slow right the way down. The New York Tracks looks amazing! Theres a roundabout like corner in the the new york section! and it's brill!

The license section is 100% more enjoyable - theres a swanky new voice over from the woman who does 5th Gear!!???! Well it sounds like her - She'll narrate what you have to do! Its as simple as! As with GT Concept, the car you drive with in the tests, if you complete it, you win that car to drive in the arcade mode!

The music hasn't changed but has been "tuned" it can be said! Anyway - going to play some more - i'll tell you more as i play it!

In the prolouge, there is no what you call it, season/career mode? (I havent played for a while so I dont know) i played gt3 last 1 year ago maybe

The prologue is a mini version of what is to come from GT4

Oh just found out, its Gran Tourismo mode, is there any of this on the GT4 Pro. like a 5 races or trial etc?

cant wait for the full version to come out! i played it in my local game store in town (whilst on works business of course) yesterday and its class, a bit sad really tho, not the game, ME: "24 year old stood playing a computer game in a shop full of school kids", never mind, none of my mates or birds i know seen me, so there non the wiser?

i know the game is great and mouth watering graphics, but i liked NFS:U more than GT3 cause simply GT3 is a simulation of driving, i have a car and i am kinda sick of driving i love high speed races, with NOS and stuff, that doesn't make GT a bad game ofcourse it's one of the best racing games in history

Well, it has just hit the shelves here in Australia, and I too picked up a copy of it today.

While it is nowhere near the quality of the version that wa shown at E# just a few weeks ago (ie, there is no 3d spectators, the graphics engine is a couple months behind what was shown at E3, and the physics still aren't *quite* right) this is an absoloute must for all GT fans, and anyone with a vested interest in racing game.

Oh, and for anyone who has bought Driving Force Pro too !

You can finally lock your brakes up in GT, w00t!!

IF you dont want to ruin GT4 and the surprises, stay off the prologue. GT4 is to be released in November.
