Konami are wankers - plain & simple! I'm also getting a feeling of deja-vu as I'm sure they released a similar statement when they realised the poor online play of PES5 on XBOX.

They didn't say anything about an update...To fix online mode its the server they fix not update the game, also they wouldn't of noticed the online was crap if they didn't get thousands of complaints about it.

They're probably talkin about the PS2 version, coz its fucked.

My Xbox360 online experience has been fine.
