Konami talking with Premiership and SPL!?

Some of the guys art Evo-web are reporting that they've read magazine articles saying that Konami are talking to the English Premiership and the SPL about aditional licenses for PES4!

Has anyone on this forum heard the same? This is fantastic news if it turns out to be true!

Well its not definate yet, alot of rumours flying around. From what ive heard it may be the EPL ...OR...the SPL, maybe not both. But lets hope.

It seems that Konami are really trying to work the hard way to get the licenses, which is understandable when you are up against the FIFA monopoly.

i think the whole monopoly thing shouldn't exist for so long, specially that FIFA are losing it's fans or at least i think so, it was just a matter of time, this year was a huge step forward for licenses, i didn't think that they would get the serie A and the spanish league, french and dutch league were a bit easy to get i think, maybe next year they will get full licenses, cause konami knows exactly how to push the licenses it gets to the limit look even at the adidas license, i don't think EA would have done all those boots and cool balls even if they had the license

The xbox version is not going to support content download. The video from xboxworld.nl showed that there is no DL content menu.

This would actually just make the game so fookin incredible, I would cry with joy for days when that game arrives in through the post.

Id be happy with just the top English Teams such as Man Utd Arsenal Liverpool Newcastle and Chelsea liscenced! That would be fantasic just to do them, but if they did the whole premiership then fifa would rot and die in its own stew! Rock on Pro Evo!

I got onto evo-web to read this for myself, basically it says there is the possibility of having another league liscence, either SPL or EPL (id hate it if they picked SPL over EPL!) Anyway i hope konami can confirm this themselves.

They said the information was found in the latest issue of CXM magazine

Hope it's true, sounds great, no more pathcing, or slight pathcing now only required. Hope they update the already lisenced team kits. If htey get this, its national teams next year.!
