posted a bit of this in the wenb thread but wanted to single it out as something for people to think about:
pes RELIES on option files to survive. without it a large percentage wouldn't buy the game, this is clearly evident by the amount of people on here and the other pes forums and the amount of downloads already for the eu version.
konami sell you a product for 30/40 quid which quite frankly isn't complete, ibra at barca etc, kits and other bits missing by all accounts. granted there is going to be a patch but still its not a finished product. in addition it seems they do absolutely nothing to help the websites who MAKE this product what it is with top quality option files.
how about sending them lot at konami an email or 2 explaining how lucky they are that people make these files and if they didn't you wouldn't buy the prodcut. maybe then, a big maybe i'm sure they may communite and assist people who enhance their product and contribute to their sales figures.
remember you paid konami for a product not wenb or any other option file maker, essentially its konamis fault and nobody elses that your game is "incomplete" right now.......
I recently bought f1 2010, a game i'd been waiting for for years and to cut a long story short it is the game with the most bugs, errors and mistakes I have ever seen. simple stuff too, things you notice in 5 mins of playing the game, things that aren't subjective to the users as mistakes, these are blatent. I and many others went directly to codemasters (as they have an official forum, unlike konami I think) and told them exactly what I thought of their product.
the only way these companies are going to listen is if we, the consumer talk and give them our opinions and feedback. I'm far from saying lets all send konami a nasty email and it will all be 100% sorted next year as it won't but it does a couple of things:
lets you vent your anger/frustration to those responsible
makes them aware of your anger/frustration, you'd be suprised still by how little these companies read internet forums etc. the odd glance, yes but they don't trawl the forums for hours like ourselves.
it seems both a modern day thing and a british thing that we accept inferior, unfinished or expensive things and moan to our friends/internet users and not at those directly responsible.
BOTTOM LINE, STOP MOANING AND TAKING FOR GRANTED THESE OPTION FILE MAKERS.
has anyone else noticed the decrease in file makers in the last couple of years? this year especially. does that not tell you something?
