Today 4th of August 2004, at 11.00am wr50l's team plays their first ever game against PES United, another new team.

The game is hottly anticipated by both parties.

Hitman took a determined approach saying,
"I don't take these pre-season games lightly, all my players are up for it and will give 99%. The other 1% will be saved for down the pub after the games."

Unfortunately, only top division league games are available to bet on. But I think it will be great if you put a bet on it for tomorrow.

Its a great game, I'm definately getting the proper version as of tomorrow. Me and hitman have a 150 point wager on it.

If you do sign up, and you do like the game, I recommend you buy a package. You will then be able to watch the games in 3d.

I'll tell you what. I will make an animation of the goals scored in tomorrows game. If the score turns out to be 8-6 or something, then I will just do 2/3 of the best goals. So you can have a small idea of what it looks like in 3D

Loch Lomond FC 0 - 0 PES United

The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Monroe Seiter took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Finn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Barbour in the 5th minute of play. 5 minutes in the game, Charles Barbour dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Loch Lomond FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win the team a corner. The corner was taken by Edmond Maclairish after 7 minutes. PES United's Lennox Greer managed to work through Loch Lomond FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lennox Greer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Charles Barbour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Finn having to interfere. Munroe Andrews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Logan Sime struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. David Finn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loch Lomond FC. If Charles Barbour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Torry to strike the kick off in the second half. If Brigham Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Airth made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Logan Sime however managed to control. 59 minutes into the match, PES United's goalkeeper David Finn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Logan Sime. Liam Cleland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Finn. PES United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lennox Greer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

how do you find out the stats? cant seem to see an option? and by the way, the 3D game would not load? It just stayed on grey screen. Is that correct?

The match statistics are on the Match page. In a box right to the scoreboard. It will tell you how many shooting chances you had, yellow cards, injuries etc etc.

With Java, you'll need to configure IE Settings to make sure it selects the Java VM 1.4 (if you dont have it, you need to download it, install and restart the PC), once you have installed it and opened up Live, it should come up with a certificate asking you to accept the certificate for ManagerZone.com, select yes. It should then take 10-30 minutes to download. The first download takes a long time, as it needs to download the graphics/sounds/data. The 2nd time you use Live 3D, it will take about 20 seconds on Broadband, and a couple of mins on dialup.
