GK Gregory Coupet (30) - France international, and current understudy to Fabien Barthez in the national squad.
DR Eric Deflandre (29)
DL Jérémie Bréchet (23) - French international left-back, pushing Silvestre for his place in the national side. A decent tackler, and offers something going forward, too.
DC Edmílson (26) - Can't defend, but very good on the ball, quite quick, likes running with the ball. Similar to Lucio (Leverkusen), but without the defensive qualities.
DC Patrick Müller (26)
ML Mahamadou Diarra (21) - Very quick, skillfull dribbler, not the best crosser of a ball though, and decent at free-kicks.
MR Juninho Pernambucano (28) - Fairly good all-round winger. Brazil international, decent at passing, crossing, and capable at running with the ball at his feet. Not overly quick, though.
DMC Marc-Vivien Foé (28) - Solid tackler, good anchor man. Got one hell of a jump, but isn't good at heading (like Thierry Henry in this respect). Hard-worker, who's quite quick, and a good tackler.
AMC Eric Carrière (30) - Lyon's utility man. Can play on either flank, as well as a bit deeper in midfield. Very good distribution of a football, a technical footballer. Understudy to Zidane in the French National team.
SC Sonny Anderson (32) - Will score goals, given the chance. Powerful in the air, but not pacy like he once was.
SC Sidney Govou (23) - Quite quick, strong, good jump, and a competent finisher. Good at running with the ball, but not dazzling. Very distinguishable appearance.
Your best bet for doing appearances, is to search for each player's name at www.google.com in the image section of the search engine. This'll usually return you a few good mugshots of each player. Also, for height etc, try Lyon's official website.
