Madden and NHL 10

Guess not lol Everyone and their grandmother has Madden over here except me. I'm the weirdo playing PES. NHL though as a whole has been on the decline here in the US but but those Canadians on the other hand...

Ok so, first impressions.
Its a lot fucking harder than previous Madden's!!
The quarterbacks are slow as hell, the players in general play more like in real life i.e. not turning on a six-pence and spinning around like Michael Jackson on heat.
I played a single game, 5 minute quarters on All Pro, Dolphins (me) vs. Jaguars (comp). The score finished 21-17 to them, which was pretty gay, but it was my first game so I thought I did quite well.
Theres a lot of cut scene bullshit at half time, which you can skip obviously, but its a quite nice addition to the game, and provides a break from the game. Obviously if you're in a rush to finish the game, or are generally impatient, then it may be quite annoying, but i'm quite enjoying watching the half time stuff.
The passing game is so much harder. In the game I previously mentioned, I used the same quarterback the whole way through (Henne) and I think I finished with something like 12/25 attempt completion, and out of those about 6 were interceptions! So the passing game is a lot harder, so I think some practice is in order.
The running game is pretty much the same, only the players are quite a bit slower, but this works on defense as well as offense. There are some new features, for example if someone were to fumble the ball, theres this big scramble where everyones jumping in to grab the ball, its pretty cool, and hilarious if you're playing with a mate/family member.
Some of the trophies sound insanely hard to get aswell, but I suppose theres the challenge, if you're a trophy whore of course. All I know is that when I finally do get one, it will feel good, especially if its a tough one.
Obviously theres the usual things like the graphics update, roster updates etc, but I think its a great game, and much better than last years title.
