Making an off the ball player make a run...

For example, if i have the ball in midfield it seems the players don't make runs, they are very annoying and start coming towards you instead of darting down the wings etc.

How can you make them go for a run?

I noticed that also in this game. By pes2008 my players automatically came darting down the wings. How to get that back?

I know what you mean it's so frustrating I end up having to hold the ball up. I might be completely wrong but I played a game yesterday with the new update and they did actually seem to make runs! I might just have been lucky though.
