Hi there I'm making the switch from the abomination of a game they call FIFA 11, after a horrid career mode and laggy online I've simply just had enough and am going to make the move to PES after playing the demo

But I do have a few questions about the game involving Master League and Liverpool :D (No jokes please)

1) I know that Liverpool aren't licensed in PES 2011, but is their kit the same as the one they wear IRL, or is it like just generic.
2) Is there any way I can make the badge the actual Liverpool badge and can you change team names??
3) On Master League do you get like a budget for just transfers or does your 'budget' involve like player wages and other club expenses?
4) Is there a squad update patch so that teams have the current players for example on the demo Ibra is at Barca on the game is Ibra at Milan, if not is there a patch for this?

Option Files

What system are you playing PES 2011 on?

In that case, navigate to the link I posted previously, and click on the PS3 Option Files sub-forum. There, you'd be able to find the Option File you want.

Even the most basic Option File should contain a fix for all the unlicensed league teams in the game (so "North London" will appear properly as Arsenal with the proper kits and proper player names). Some might even provide more, so have fun searching there.

And welcome to PES :)

EDIT:

I just realised I haven't answered the rest of your questions... my bad.

3) Your budget will have to pay for all your annual expenditures, including player wages, fan clubs, youth team, coach, doctor, trainer...etc.

4) The Option File should do that for you. Failing that, Konami usually updates the team lineups, although it's not as often as I would have liked. OR you could do it yourself from the Edit menu ingame, although that's the most time consuming option.

just a note m8 check wich pes u got bles 0120 or 0121 b4 u install an option file make sure it works with your copy of pes,and welcome 2 pes .

you ll need a usb memory stick download option file to pc unzip it then put on memory stick, then boot up ps3 put stick in and it will show up on save data then copy all the files 1 by 1 to your ps3 normally takes about an hour but will b worth the stress

i made the jump from FIFA too.

FIFA was just absolutely awful in every aspect. PES shits on fifa on everything, graphics, gameplay, master mode, etc

oh forgot to mention go to game save data then you will find the usb there open it then copy all the files

Make sure all the system updates have installed first for the option file to work.

The WENB option file is a good bet if you are from the UK and have the BLES01020 version.

You will have to copy each data over seperately and it takes about an hour.. Just make sure not to copy over the system data

Yeh i remember you from the board. Havent been there in ages...although its no doubt either dead or filled with negative complaints.
