I am in my 1st season as manchester city...i have all my regular players tevez etc...lescot demanded to leave because half way through my season he wanted a new contract and i didnt look till someone else had bought him...anyway my problem is i dont have much depth in midfield especially now that i am about to enter my 2nd season in ML....i need some good side backs, as well as good CB's...and i need some strong midfield defensive and offensive players..i am very happy with my strikers...anyone have any tips on who i can go out and get...for the following positions i just asked for..it would be greatly appreciated...

I wanted to get FABIO, RAFEL from manchester united, and orbertan, giovinco from juventus, but i have noo idea who to get as far as CB goes...ajax has good cb's...wht do u think? i want players from at least 18-to mid 20's anyone over the age of 28 i dont want....lol

y arent u starting toure? and i never thought about louis fab...is he an easy buy? and i am going to try kompany in the back and start de jong ....i like what uve done although i question why wright phillips is on the bench..santa cruz does wanders for me... i play

Lesott is strong which is good, I like yours too.

My origional central defence was Toure and Lescott, but I tried Komapany and McGivern which worked well. I actually got annoyed at Toure as he kept on running up and leaving spaces in defence.

Luis Fabiano, was relatively easy, I was top of the league, had a Champios League spot guarranteed, although I say relatively as it took a while for my scout. You wont get him during one transfer window, especially January (Too Short).

De Jong is beastly in mine, although you say Santa Cruz is doing wanders in yours, he done ok in my season last year. Here is a point, Luis Fabiano scored 26 goals on his own for Sevilla last season (in game), compared to Santa Cruz 10 goals, Bellamy 9 goals and Adebayor 6 goals, altogether that equals 25, so maybe it is just whatever game it is (do you know what I mean eg. Santa Cruz good in your, bad in mine). Even more of a point Robinho scored 17 as a SS, Ronaldinho scored 12 as a SS (not bad since he signed in January and Tevez scored 22 as a SS.

Let me know how De Jong progresses for you, btw I made him captain, maybe thats why he is awesome.

Edit- Sold Adebayor for £21 Million to Barca. They got ripped off lol.

man i started my second season and shane given wanted 2 leave even tho he conceded like 7 goals total last season...because of that he has let in about 50 goals now in like 7 games and its pissing me off because my defense did not allow that much goals...so im thinking about restarting my master league with manchester united my real team, but i hate that they have all the talent....or just sticking with man city and try to regroup....

I did sign Orbertan on loan from man united as well as macheda....i sold bellamy to chelsea for alot....huntalaar i havent given him alot of chances to play...but he's developing

DE JONG is really good he stops everything up the middle and u are soo right TOURE goes up all the time and leaves my back flat footed...but when he defends he defends right so who knows...

TEVEZ was the top scorer my 1st year with like 29 goals, Robhino was 2nd with 25 goals and he led in assist and was the best player of the league...now in my 2nd season they are both struggling to score but they still create good chances...

I'll give man city one more chance in my 2nd season to redeem themselves but if they mess up and allow 50 goals because GIVEN is unhappy i am going with man united.

Give them another go as you said.

Check My Team to see why he wants to leave, it might just be he needs a rest if it is that reason don't even put him on the subs bench for a game or two, put him in reserves. subs bench for a game or two, then it MIGHT say, unhappy at not being given too many chances, then you put him in and he should be fine.

If it doesn't work, try getting new keeper/s, try Akinfeev- Russia or as I keep saying to everybody, Cristiano- Braga. Both very good keepers.
