Manual passing and a few other things

I know there have been many threads such as this on how this game can be made better and here's another one. Since pes went next gen i have hated the game and been very critical of konami and there need to please the casual gamer. For the best two years i have been playing fifa as i prefer the manual settings etc. I know pes is far from a perfect game and in my opinion inferior to fifa 10, at the same time with editing and some work this game can be excellent. Although extremely difficult to get used to manual passing with the right analogue stick adds a new layer to the game as you can put the ball into space. The manual passing system on the game needs alot of the work but if you have the skill it is very enjoyable to use. The default passing is to easy so I suggest you take the time to learn manual if you want to get more sim out of pes 10. Its important to note you will hate manual pass at first but once you master it the game becomes that more simlike and organic, below are a few other suggestions on how to get the best out of pes 2010.

- Use the adjusting team styles thread

- Play the game at 720p hd settings with broadcast camera.

There are other threads around the forums with regards to editing the AI to make it attack more and they do make a difference. I suggest you mess around with team settings ect as it makes the game more challenging. The manual pass is not as good as manual on fifa or pes 5, but it makes the game more challenging if you are simulation crazy and after a challenge. I slated pes 2010 at the start and it was the first pes game i didnt buy on release but i am falling in love with it again after editing team styles, stats and using manual pass for 90% of the game.

I know this thread is a bit of a waffle fest but underneath the poor animations and dodgy AI there is a great game that actually feels like football.
