Hello, I'm new to PES (I'm playing the demo and will get game in a couple of weeks). Can anyone explain the Master League to me? :unsure: I'm an Arsenal fan and would be playing with them. Thanks:blind:

Master league is the best part of PES IMO.
You basically start with a team of your choice or a custom team. Then you have a choice of using the real team players or a group of really crappy ficticious players.
You start out in D2 and try to work your way up to D1 by playing through seasons and cups and what not, and you aquire points which you use to buy players.
Your players also develop as the seasons go by, so their stats will imrpove.
I personally always start ML with the ficticious crappy players, but you can start with the Arsenal default squad for example, but I feel that kinda defeats the purpose... but its your choice.

Thanks Cap. I play FIFA but I'm venturing into PES for the first time. I don't have the game yet but I'm getting it next week. Since I'm a newcomer, I have questions. I thought the purpose of forums were to share experiences about the game, but you're the only one who took the time to explain.

To be fair, there's always a lot of topics in the PES sections so it's easy for some other topics to move down the list and unfortunately get ignored.
Cap has summed it up very well to be honest. It's basically a fantasy like mode in the sense that you're able to carry a team of ficticious players, many crap and on the verge of retirement with only a few youngsters, in the hope of promotion and glory.
