Master league help re transfers

Hey guys, newcomer here in desperate need of help.

I've started a ML with the default players and I've bought Carlton Cole and loaned Di Santo but now I've got expected earnings of -£300k.

To remedy this I have transfer listed most of the dross that I have in my squad and I get to mid november with offers coming in.

I have set it so I negotiate directly but I can't find anywhere to agree to the outgoing transfer.

I've tried the ongoing negotiations screen and I can see the offer that has been made. However, when I select the player, my only options are Dossier, Place on loan/transfer list and compare.

My only alternative is to allow my scout to handle the offers but when I tried this I wasn't given the option to confirm the signings, unlike when I bought a player.

Many apologies for the long post but this is annoying the hell out of me and has slowed down the progress I had been making.

Maybe you haven't received any bids yet? it takes a couple of weeks you know..

However you can see the received offers either in "my team" then clicking the player, or as you mention you self "ongoing negotiations".

Yeah that's what I thought at first, but when I go to Ongoing Negotiations I can see the offer but there's nowhere to confirm it.

Also, if I let the scouts deal with the transfer it goes through fine but I don't have the opportunity to confirm it, which I don't like

No i choose to control it myself as well.
When i receive an offer then i first get a "message" (the news bos popping up after playing the match returning to ML mode) saying "Offers received"
Then i either press "My team" or ongiong negitiations. Then select the player. Then it says change, negitiations succesful or suspend negotiations.

Don't really know whats wrong in your league mate..

Could it be a glitch on the option file that I am using?

If it is, can you recommend a different option file which actually works?!?!

When you have a player scouted, are you then able to see his stats?

I can't on mine.

I'm beginning to think that the option file I have downloaded is a bit 'glitchy'

Regarding watching the players stats: This can only be done when you've scouted him and the scout delivers a scout report. You can't select any player and see his stats before scouting him..

I'm not actually sure which one I'm using - a colleague downloaded it for me.

I know that I received bids because when I allowed my scout to control negotiations the transfers went through fine, but I wasn't asked to confirm it. This obv isn't ideal because I want control over who stays and who goes.

Re the players stats, I have received the scout's report but the stats are still invisible.

It looks like I'm going to have to get a different option file....

No problem. Glad to help. Sure you waited a couple of weeks after him giving the scout report? Think first he gives it, then the week after i can see the stats..
