Master League problem

I tried playing an exhibition match with one of my master league teams. It loaded the team up, but all the player stats are back to base. Is this normal? and if it isn't does that mean it isn't possible to use my master league team unless it is in the league? Thx in advance

You have to go to My Best Eleven on the master league and save your team to an empty slot on your memory card, doesn't take up much room, then when you start an exhibition match load your master league team from that slot that you saved My Best Eleven in. All players stats will be as they are in your current master league.
