So i just finished my first season with chelsea in division 2. I am getting promoted but I am still in the end of the year negotiated period. My team popularity is "S" and I get permission to speak with players like kaka, messi, agger and Giovinco. I offer each player max salary for 5 years and every single one refuses. I have even tried setting the master league level to easiest. Will I have to wait till I am officially in Division 1 to get these starts to sign with me? Whats the deal here?

try to lower the contract years to like 2years that might help

tried lowering the years to 1 and 2 but still no signings. =( Maybe kaka and messi are too ambitious but why not even giovinco?

maybe u might haft to wait till your in the D1 league and winning trophies also when u want a player add them to your scout list and then in a few weeks u will get a report back from them saying if he is happy or if he wants to move the higher the % the more chance u will get to get him

theres this bug i heard of, i never tried, when u loan players for like 1 point(or whatever you call the money) they mostly accept.

Yea. I am not a purist in this file for master league. I am just looking to build a huge team. I actually edited the league so the the top 4 of la liga, seria a and premiership are all in the same league. Plus bayern and lyon.

If i do use the loan cheat, will they eventually sign with me if I am successful?

That I don't know... I doubt it....

I assume that Konami has probably restricted some players from playing in D2 period... it would be weird to see Kaka for a D2 team

by the way, could someone explain the actual point of ML, or do you just do the same thing over and over season after season?

Think in principle you play it over and over until you amass a squad of world beaters then use em online to play against other squads of world beaters but as stat improvement don`t get implemented everyone buys the same 22 players anyway that and online play sucks, so its pretty pointless.
